

As a child, Mr. Kielty played baseball with the Snug Harbor Little League, appearing on its all-star team several times. While attending Petrides School, Sunnyside, he wrestled and played on the varsity soccer team.
He graduated from the University of Albany in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in history and political science.
Mr. Kielty was employed for a time at Clark's House of Flowers, Castleton Corners. He had passed several city tests, and had plans to eventually work for the New York State Park Police.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends, who affectionately called him by his nickname, "Bubba." He loved going on family vacations and listening to rap music.
Mr. Kielty is survived by his parents, Jim and Karen Kielty; a brother, Jim Jr., and two grandmothers, Alberta Monahan and Joan Kielty.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10:45 a.m. in St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners. Arrangements include cremation.
