Of all Meghan’s wonderful gifts – which are far too numerous to list here – the one that touched me the most was her ability to befriend anyone. She had a great talent for being able to talk to anyone, in almost any situation, and make them feel at ease. As evidenced by the many stories and memories shared since her passing, Meghan had a special presence that drew people to her. She was full of laughter, enthusiasm, and love. She loved fiercely and was unendingly loyal to her friends and family.

Meghan was drawn to the underdog, to those who had trouble fitting in or were misunderstood, and those who needed protection. She loved a lost cause in need of rescuing – both animals and people. She included everyone in her circle without thinking twice. I will always be grateful for how Meghan “took me in” at Sacred Heart, and supported me through many difficult times. She was a true friend in both good times and bad.

I have never met someone who was more unapologetically herself than Meghan. There was so much goodness in her that everyone around her could feel. She is irreplaceable, and so many of us will always have a hole in our hearts without her presence. We all miss you, Megs.

English classes at SHU would have been a complete snooze with you next to me. Everything from Billy Shakes to Brit Lit you were the main reason I even went to class. Your humor was top notch and I was never ready for the next sarcastic wit to come out of your mouth. I remember after Senior Formal, I had to sneak into your dorm room because I had lost my shoes, and phone, and wallet, and you laughed me through that morning and helped me find my dignity. An incredible friend and human with so much light and an even bigger heart. Thank you for being a friend ❤️❤️

I only knew Meghan for about 3 years. She managed my account for Lippe Taylor. I loved coming to NY because I'd get to see her beautiful smile in person! I had the pleasure of sitting next to her at a huge dinner-probably 18 of us. She talked so lovingly about her family and life on Staten Island. It's still one of my fondest memories. Meghan was so smart and talented and lovely. We shared a love of dogs, so I am happy to donate to her favorite pet rescue. She will be missed so much.

Meghan and I were colleagues for a short period of time. It only took me a second to realize that Meghan was a very nice and caring young woman. Very kind, sweet and gentle. She loved her family. Gone way too soon. The friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers.❤

My deepest condolences to the entire family especially her parents. I remember a sweet humble young lady when my daughters competed with her on the Lanes. I pray the Lord give you some peace and comfort in these very difficult times.

I just donated to your rescue in hopes that all the doggos can be saved!
I could’ve been a better friend after college and kept up with our life changes, but that doesn’t numb the pain. You are so deeply missed.

Meghan and I worked together in NYC at a PR agency a few years back. Meghan was kind, eager and understanding. When I moved back home to Canada, she was thoughtful enough to send me cards of well wishes and notes that inspired me. She frequently went out of her way to make others feel seen and special. She was truly lovely and I’m so, so very sorry to hear of her passing. She spoke so passionately about her family and rescue dogs. May she forever rest in eternal peace.
