John and I were shocked to find out yesterday 1/16/2014 about the passing of Michael... we last spoke in July 2013, apparently just a few days before. Had known Michael for over 20 years... very sad for his family and friends. You will be missed Mike...

As as friend and co-worker of Michael's for many years in New York, we shared many laughs together. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's death even at this late date. My deepest condolences to his family. I last had an email from Mike in July, 2013 with a photo of his condo with the American flag hanging over his patio. Mike will be sorely missed.
