Dear Veronica and family. It saddened us to learn about Mike’s passing. Eric and I and family are so sorry to hear about Mike. We had so much fun living next door to each other in Brooklyn. We remember Mike making the delicious peppers and would share it with us! We will always treasure the fun and your friendship.

We were completely surprised to read about Michael’s passing.  Although we have not had regular contact with Michael, we all remember him fondly as a happy individual with a contagious laugh. We missed the wake and funeral because we did not know he passed away!

I am so incredibly saddened. I am so lucky to have met someone as incredible as Pa. He welcomed me into his home and into his life as if I am one of his own. I couldn’t be more grateful for the love he showed me and I will always remember him as the most thoughtful and selfless man ever. He would always make everyone laugh even when he was down, and that was just the type of man he was. He is such an inspiration to me, and I will always look up to him as an example of what a man should be. May he rest in peace. Sending love to you all during this incredibly difficult time. Dear Pa,
Words cannot describe the feeling of pure sadness I have in my heart. It is very hard to say goodbye to a person I cherished so much, it feels impossible. Thank you Pa for being such a role model and important person in my life. Thank you for all the wonderful times we had together. I feel so blessed to have so many beautiful memories together. Memories and traditions that will be passed down to my future family. You will never be forgotten and I will make sure of that. It warms my heart to know you are safe now, happy and free. I will miss and love you forever. Rest easy Pa.

You were not only the provider and protecter of our family but  you always put us first, even up to the very end. Your love and selflessness for our family goes beyond words.
