Mickey, as she was known to her family and friends was born on Staten Island to Ralph and Constance Farella. She lived in New York City, where she attended school, before making Staten Island her lifelong home.
Mickey worked as a seamstress and a homemaker. She married the love of her life, Nicholas Labetti in 1957. She had three daughters, Michele (McComb), and twins, Rosann (LiVolsi) and Connie Labetti. Her five grandsons; Nicholas, Zachary, Jordan, Matthew and Gabriel were the light of her life.
She is predeceased by her siblings, William, Anna Farella and Madeline Wintonick and her surviving sister is Gloria Delle Donne.
Mickey loved gambling, playing cards, watching Jeopardy, the Game Show Station and country music. She was Elvis Presley’s #1 fan and always said her husband resembled him.
Mickey was full of life and was always the life of the party. She will be sorely missed.
Funeral arrangements are private. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.
A memorial mass to celebrate Mickey’s life will be held at a later date.
