Maryanne and I are very sorry that we just learned of Aunt Shelly’s passing. We had no idea. We have wonderful memories of visiting you in NY and attending so many wonderful family gatherings.  Our Deepest Sympathy

To My Loving Mother,

You are the most caring, comforting and loving person I know. I will miss you so so much. I never had the chance to thank you for letting me back into your daughter’s life, but rest assure she will be taken care of forever. I am selfish because I want you back, but God has another plan for you in heaven. Maybe he needs you to cook scungilli salad or maybe he needs you to be an AA moderator. Whatever the case, I hope that God shines his perpetual light in you and welcomes you into the gates of heaven. I will and always have loved you forever!

My fond and lasting loving memories of this dear woman were and will be of her gentle strength, her quiet tone, her welcoming approach, her winning smile whether it was a sleepover in high school, a crowd (perhaps more than expected) for a pool party at her and her husband's generous invitation up on the hill, some 20-somethings descending upon their Florida household for spring break and my amusement at her deliberate absence during her husband's very controlled calm at finding Gina had placed a bull-frog in the pool's filter skimmer (I knew I loved this family), or at any one of so many times I was privileged to be in her company.  Her Grace, her love, her strength, her compassion, and for so many, will continue to be with us throughout the ages.

Thank you so very much for teaching me so very many things.

May you rest now, and in eternal peace.
