STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Nancy Antonacci, 84, of Dongan Hills, a former short-order cook, died Saturday at Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Born in Manhattan, she moved to Dongan Hills in 1979.
She worked as a short order cook at a diner in Manhattan for 18 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed occasional trips to Atlantic City and spending time with her friends.
"She was a happy and loving person. She always loved to help others," said her sister, Frances Argeziano.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, New Dorp.
She is survived by her sister, Frances.
Funeral arrangements, including cremation, are being handled by Virginia Funeral Chapel, Dongan Hills.
