Nella Notari

Nella was born July 13, 1934 in Bagni di Lucca, Italy to the late Gino and Bruna Biglia. Survived by her sisters, Alessandra Pieri, Cristiana Paini, brother Osvaldo Biglia, and the late Denis Biglia.

Nella married her childhood sweetheart whom was also from Bagni di Lucca the late Walter (Valte) Notari, on April 5, 1952 in Marseille, France. She arrived to the United States in 1953.

As a homemaker, Nella raised her three daughters, Lydia Walsh, Sandra Druback (Paul deceased) and Amador Aromin (Arnel). She has five grandchildren. Harold Relucio (Dawn), Christina Relucio, Stephanie Ciurcina (Lenny), Katherine Spatz (Brian), and Francesca Yerkes (Michael) and five great-grandchildren. Anthony, Samantha, Hailey, Paul, and Elizabeth.

Nella enjoyed cooking, gardening, and entertaining family and friends.

A visitation for Nella will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

A religious ceremony will occur Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 10 Austin Pl, New York, NY 10304.

A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Peter' s Cemetery, 52 Tyler Ave, New York, NY 10310.
