Nick Rozak passed away on April 9, 2022 after a brief illness. He came to the United States in 1952 via Ellis Island. He became a citizen at age 19 with his parents. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Kathleen. He is survived by his daughter Mary-Ellen, his son Nicholas, his grandson Jack, his cat Kisses, and his two Brothers Steve and Dennis.
Nick was retired from Verizon and a former counselor at Mount Loretto. He was a District Commissioner in Scouting and an Assistant Scoutmaster. He was very proud of his son and grandson who both became Eagle Scouts.
Nick spent many years as a local Santa Claus. He was known to many as Santa and as Papa at home.
He graduated from Catholic University with a degree in Theology. He played football and had the nickname ‘animal’ on the field.
Nick loved painting, woodworking, and photography. He loved flea markets, action movies and coin collecting. He also enjoyed meeting with his friends at the ROMEOs.

Visitation will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave. on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
