Noel Tarantino

Noel was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his three beloved daughters, Gina, Patricia, and Lisa, and his sister Rosalie. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Marissa, Mickayla, Anthony, and Michael, who brought him immense joy and pride. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Thea, Oliver, and Lena, and two sons-in-law, Anthony and Scott.

Noel was also incredibly dedicated to his career. He worked for the New York Telephone Company, which later became Verizon, for more than 30 years. He started out climbing telephone poles and worked his way up to a supervisory position—a wonderful reflection of his strong work ethic, determination, and commitment. He enjoyed his work so much that, even after retiring, he returned twice as a consultant. It was clear that he took great pride in what he did and in the many people he worked with throughout the years.

Noel treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He had a way of making those around him feel welcome and appreciated, and some of his happiest moments were simply being together with the people he loved.

He enjoyed watching sports, especially the NY Mets, sharing good times with friends and family, and, of course, raising a glass to celebrate life and the company of those around him. Noel knew how to enjoy the simple pleasures and create memories that will be remembered for years to come.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, sons-in-law, extended family, and many friends. His love, laughter, and memories will live on in all those fortunate enough to have known him.

May he rest peacefully, and may his memory always be a blessing to those he loved.

Visitation will be held at Casey-McCallum Rice Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308, US, on September 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Clare Roman Catholic Church, St. Clare's Church, Staten Island, NY 10308, US, on September 4, 2026, at 9:45 am.

A Funeral Service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309, US, on September 4, 2026, at 11:15 am.
