Orvenia Stachlik

Staten Island native adored by her family and friends, Orvenia (Nancy) A. Stachlik, 78, passed away on March 6, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Nancy was born on Staten Island on January 29, 1946 to the late James Burns and the late Orvenia Otto. She graduated from Curtis High School. She married her true love, Stephen Stachlik in the fall of 1965, and spent 58 wonderful years together, residing in West Brighton.

Nancy was well known for her outgoing personality, love for traveling, generosity, and care towards others. She loved watching her three grandchildren, Owen, Sean, and Maisie participate in school activities and cheering them on at sports competitions. She also enjoyed spending time with her great nieces and nephew, and doting on the many children of neighbors and friends.

In addition to her husband and grandchildren, Nancy is survived by her daughter Kelly, son Paul and his wife Heather.

The wake will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on March 8, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9. Prayer Service will be on March 9, 2024 at 10:00 followed by burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
