

Born Paola Cottone in Caltabellotta, Italy, she immigrated with her husband and three children to the United States in 1966 and settled in Brooklyn.
Mrs. Grisafi moved to Staten Island in 1970, living in Concord and South Beach before settling in Great Kills in 2005.
Mrs. Grisafi worked as a seamstress for many local clothing companies. She retired in 1991.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Pellegrino Grisafi; three daughters, Maria Pullano, Filippa Pepitone and Josephine Giglia; a brother, Charles Cottone, and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Casey-McCallum-Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Great Kills, with a mass at 9:45 a.m. in St. Clare's R.C. Church, Great Kills. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
