WWII Army veteran, carpenter
Peter Beshai, 91, died Feb. 12, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North.
Mr. Beshai was born Dec. 16, 1926, in West Boylston, Mass. He served four years with the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany.
He was a carpenter for F.M.C. Corp. Mr. Beshai's hobbies included bowling and golf.
He was married for 65 years to Antoinette (nee Buono), who died in 2016.
Surviving are three children, Peter, Robert and Ronald; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral is on Saturday from Virginia Funeral Chapel, 1707 Hylan Blvd., Dongan Hills. Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. at St. John Episcopal Church, Bay Street. Interment is in Moravian Cemetery. Visiting is on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
