Originally from Brooklyn, Philip grew up in Staten Island and later moved to New Egypt, NJ with his wife Joanne in 1999.
He was a member of the Staten Island Siberian Husky Club (Dog Racing). A graduate of Port Richmond High School, Class of 1970, where he was a member of the football team.
He was the President/Owner of Aqua Dive in the 1990’s, where he traveled taking people on scuba diving trips.
He joined the FDNY in 1979, until 2001 where he also became the dive instructor. He was a diver at Flight 800. He worked in various firehouses in Special Operations, Ladder 119, Rescue 5, and ended his career in Marine 9.
He is predeceased by his mother Theresa and his father Philip.
Philip leaves behind his loving wife Joanne Intoccia Quattrocchi; two adoring daughters Amanda Allen and son-in-law Chris Allen, Diana Cahill and son-in-law Dan Cahill; three grandchildren, who he adored, Christopher, Michael and Bianca; his brother Robert and sister-in-law Kathy; his sister Mary and brother-in-law Lou; nieces and nephews whom he loved very much and many close lifelong friends.
Phil touched everyone’s life. He always made us laugh and will be terribly missed by all he knew and loved him.
