STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Ralph A. Casale, 44, of Dongan Hills, a Transit Authority supervisor, died Sunday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School. He also attended Kingsborough Community College in his native borough.
Mr. Casale had a 24-year career as a supervisor with the New York City Transit Authority.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed going on cruises and trips to Atlantic City.
Mr. Casale was a parishioner of St. Clare's R.C. Church, Great Kills.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; his sons, Anthony and Ralph; his daughter, Amanda Casale; his father, Dave Brenyo; two sisters, Linda Cartigiano and Jacqueline Ashby; two grandchildren, and his fiancee, Roberta Lipnor.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Great Kills, with a mass at 11 a.m. in St. Clare’s Church. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
