	While growing up, our families spent a lot of time together, so I’m grateful to have so many great memories with Ramona. As I think about all the weekends in Brooklyn, holidays in Staten Island or Long Island and even the times we went camping, it’s impossible to pick out one memory in sea of many. What stands out to me is how much I enjoyed being around Ramona. Whether it was just hanging out  with the family or playing “Rock Band” on Christmas Eve, she was always fun to be around while we were growing up and as we got older she grew into a more caring and thoughtful person. I know Ramona could be a tough cookie at times but that’s one of the things I love about her. She didn’t take crap from anyone but the people she did care about she loved unconditionally. When I went to visit her while she was in NYU (almost 2 years ago) it stuck out to me how concerned she was about how I was doing meanwhile she was the one in the hospital going through something I could never imagine. She was the same way even when I came to visit her at the house a couple months ago. Not everyone is that selfless. 
	It will be impossible to not think of Ramona whenever I hear Staind on the radio but it will be a great reminder of how much she loved music and going to shows. I loved talking music with her since she had such a passion for it. I always think it’s the little things in life that you have to appreciate. It sounds stupid but whenever we hugged hello or goodbye, I always felt she put all her love in those hugs. That meant a lot to me & I will miss that. I will remember Ramona as a loving mother, daughter & cousin whom I always enjoyed spending time with.

I am not supposed to be doing this! I am the big sister! I can’t believe you are gone! I love you so much!! The  little sister I shared a bedroom with, who came to my secret wedding in city hall (and said “It takes longer to get Kentucky Fried Chicken!” when the quick ceremony was over lol), who made me an aunt! It was hard to watch you go through a double lung transplant, but you were a fighter!! I would never have the courage to endure half of what you did! It is over now! No more pain. No more difficulty breathing. No more suffering! I am thankful for that! Thankfully for the surgeons and donor family that gave us the extra 18 months with you but glad you are at peace now!
I will love you forever! We will watch over Nicholas for you! Always!


I remember hanging with you nd your sister many years ago.  I remember going to Blockbuster Video with you and you were driving and as we went down a very steep hill you Saud to me,  "I don't really think my breaks work on my car"   As we went down the hill we both started laughing but thank God your cars breaks worked when we got to the bottom of the hill.  I remember  hanging out in your house with you and your sister with so many of our friends your sister and I worked with.  I met you a couple times after that and you were the nicest, sweetest person I known.   I still can't over that your gone and you will be missed. One of these dats we all will see you again and I can't wait to see you again. 

We were friends since I was 15. Then it turned to more. We brought a beautiful baby boy into this world that grew up to be an amazing young man. You were my wife for 12 years. You still have a part of my heart that will be yours forever.  RIP Ramona… Till we meet again… I’ll be expecting my dance ;)

My Baby shower! Ramona  was the best kind of friend to have!!  She was a good listener and even better at giving advice. I will miss her 

Mony, you may be out of my sight but not out of my heart and mind. I loved you so much. Dad and I are inconsolable.  I will grieve for you for the rest of my life.  You fought a hard battle for 10 yrs and we were with you every step of the way.  Not we have to let you go until we meet again.    Rest in Peace.  Love, Mom and Dad
