

Born and raised in Staten Island and a resident of Marathon NY, Ramsey Gamble lost his hard battle with kidney disease and passed away Sunday, September 9th from cardiac arrest surrounded by his loving family. He worked as a cook at Pal Joey's Italian Restaurant for many years until he was hired as a mechanical technician for the USPS where he worked until 2021.
He was a strong willed, loving, caring, family man. He had a heart of gold and helped anyone who came his way. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and fixing anything he could get his hands on.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Gamble, who he met in high school. They recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children Butchie Gamble, Tina Nunez, Kristen Gamble Asoski (Ermin), his sisters Alice, Irene (Dan) and Barbara, his brother John, brother in law Bill, brother in law Bobby (Ruth), father in law Thomas Tuite and many nieces and nephews. Ramsey was also a loving grandfather to Eriche Nunez, Kenneth Nunez and Sienna Asoski.
He was predeceased by his son Ramsey Gamble Jr. who recently passed in July, parents John and Irene Gamble, sister Judy, brother Danny, brother in law Bob and mother in law Patricia Tuite.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be forever missed.
