Raymond A. Charzewski, 87, of Castleton Corners. He was born and raised in Elm Park. He graduated from St. Adalbert’s. He attended McKee High School and worked with his father as a carpenter. He joined the Army in 1955 and was in the 11th Airborne Paratrooper Division. He served two years in Germany before being honorably discharged in 1958. He then met his wife, Agnes (Sis) Harrison, and they were married in 1960, settling in Castleton Corners. He continued his career as a union carpenter with Local #20 for 35 years. He retired in 1995. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City in his spare time, his second home in Naples, Florida, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Agnes. He is survived by his two sons, Raymond and Steven, two daughters, Sheryl and Karen, a brother Eugene, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
