Born Regina Farrell in Brooklyn, she moved to Great Kills in 2000.
Mrs. Mangino worked as a payroll manger for Landers and Segal and the Prayer Channel, both in Brooklyn. She retired in 2005.
She was a graduate of Prospect Heights High School.
A parishioner of St. Clare's R.C. Church, Great Kills, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She also liked to play bingo and cooking.
Her husband of 32 years, Charles, died in 1989 and her son, Edward, died in 1994.
Surviving are her son, Michael; a daughter, Kathryn Thompson; six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Great Kills, with a mass at 9:45 a.m. in St. Clare's Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
