Robert served in the US Air Force as a Ground Radar Technician. He loved the NY Giants also golfing and NASCAR. He also loved his boat docked in Staten Island and traveled the world with his wife Marie. He worked as an engineer for Torcon Corp for many years.
He is survived by Marie DeMatteo Collie, his wife of 47 years; His son Robert Jason (Pam) Collie of Steens, MS; His five grandchildren: Jason Parker of Gulfport, MS Jeremy (Telisa) Posey of Caledonia, MS, Lindsey Posey of Florence, MS, John Collie of Brandon, MS, Taylor Collie of St. Francis, WI; his great-children, Landon Parker ,of Gulfport, MS, Madyson and Carver Posey of Caledonia, MS. He is predeceased by his daughter, Janice Lynn Posey of Florence, MS.
A funeral service for Robert will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in St Sylvester's Church, 856 Targee St, Staten Island, NY 10304.
