Robert S. Fabiszak

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Bob,
May God speed your journey and know that you will be missed. Will always remember our rides together; that 1939 Harley you worked on in your garage. You were the consummate gentleman among many at our SIB Command. Rest in Peace my old friend.

My condolences to the Fabiszak family. I met Bob around 1977 when I was. 19 and was a temporary toll collector at the staten island bridges. I was new to the Port Authority and did not even know they had a police dept. After talking with Bob and other officers that worked their I wanted to become a port authority police officer. And at 21, I got on . knowing bob and talking with him about the job helped me decide that I wanted to join the police dept. Bob use to talk to me about when he owned a horse and how much work was involved in taking care of a horse. He was a collector of war memorabilia and had lots of knowledge of that subject. Bob was an overall good guy. He was a dedicated police officer and loved being one. He will be missed . rest in peace Robert . take care Fabby.
