

Born on March 30, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, he carried that pride with him throughout his life.
Bob was a Union Carpenter for the New York City District Council of Carpenters for over 50 years. He was known for his quick wit, unforgettable stories, and always entertaining those around him. Bob enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Rocky, Capone and Pacino, watching the games and parties.
Above all, Bob was devoted to his family. He often said his daughters were his greatest accomplishment, and he cherished his grandchildren deeply.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Mankowski; his mother, Lillian Clark; his sisters, Florence Bluemenberg and Cynthia Kruzykowski.
Bob is survived by his four daughters, Grace and her husband Patrick, Susan, Barbara and husband William and Nancy and her husband Daniel as well as the mother of his children, Grace. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Nina, Alexa, Alyssa and Juliana who he cherished deeply, his sister Johanna Lowman and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph-St. Thomas St. John Neumann Parish, 6097 Amboy Rd, New York, NY 10309, US, on May 11, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Ave, New York, NY 10309, US, on May 11, 2026, from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm.
