Rocco Parente

Our beloved Rocky definitely was the "rock" in our family and a great man that we all looked up to. He had many funny stories about the old times on Mott St. He was a smart, funny, talented, strong, kind and gentle man who loved his family and would do anything for anyone in need. He knew something about everything and could fix literally anything. He enjoyed bocce and hanging out with his buddies. He was also a quiet man, never really showing his emotions but we knew how much he loved all of us. He gave all of us great memories that we will always cherish.

Rocco leaves behind his daughter Anne Marie, son Larry, sister Mary, sister-in-law Angela, soul mate Lillian, many nieces and nephews and his grandpuppy Suzie.

He's at peace now in his eternal home with his wife Lucille, his brother Larry (Butch), his parents, and above all his Savior.

A visitation for Rocco will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10308. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 9:45 AM at St. Clare Church, 110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:15 AM at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309.
