Born Rose DeLuca in Brooklyn, she worked as a seamstress prior to her marriage in 1950. She moved to Sayreville, N.J., in 1986, and returned to the Island and settled in Eltingville in 2009.
A homemaker, she was an avid Mets fan and enjoyed crocheting, music and playing bingo.
Her husband of 58 years, Anthony, died in 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Curcie, Roseann Mastrangelo and Paula Rosa, and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday from the Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Great Kills, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Child R.C. Church, Eltingville. Burial will follow at Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, N.J.
