

Rose arrived in America from Guardiareggia Italy on June 28, 1939. She began working in the New York Fashion Industry as a Seamstress. She attended the New York Institute of Fashion were she obtained an Associates Degree in Pattern Making. In the 1980s she travelled to Hong Kong and South Korean, to teach pattern making to her counter parts in the Asian Fashion Industry.
Rose married Dominick Vecchiarelli on December 3, 1947 in St. Rosalie’s Church in Brooklyn. They have three sons. Frank and his wife, Joan. John and his wife, Veronica. Dennis and his wife, Debra.
Rose has six grand children. Christopher and his wife, Erin. Lauren and her husband, Walter. Catherine and her husband, Troy. Marc and his wife, Olivia. Dana and her husband, William. Daniel and his wife, Katara.
Rose also has two Step-Grand children, Nick Cavalcante and Paul Cavalcante.
Rose was blessed with seven Great-Grand children. Chace, Christian, Lucas, Charlise, Avery, William and Maxwell.
Rose is survived by her Dear Brother Dominick Vecchiarelli, his wife Lucille and their children Marie Derasmo, her husband Jim. John his wife, Lisa. Her Dear Nephew Joseph Lattanzio and her Dear Niece Rosalie Eaione, her husband Joseph.
Rose is also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews, who loved and respected her dearly.
As well as her caregiver of nine years, Mrs. Esthella Della Cruz.
Rose was the True Matriarch of her Family.
