The last time I've seen Sal was at Saint Ritas graduation in 1984, but we did catch up, after we reconnected on Facebook. I am glad that we did. We started in kindergarden together. Lol ages ago. The memories just flowed in ,with all the great times in grade school. Even back then Sal was such a down to earth guy, a great friend, and all the classmates loved him.
I found him on facebook and we reconnected. I absolutely loved all his pictures on facebook, for he was able to see the beauty that surrounded him in the world. The shots he caught were worthy of prize winning photos.
Sal had such a wonderful spirit for life friends ,and family!! Im going to miss him.
My condolences to his family and friends, at this sad time. May Sal be in the arms of the Lord in heaven. He is a new angel indeed.
Until we meet again Sal, thank you for being such a great friend in all of our lives! I'll always remember the great memories in such simpler times. You were true blue. May God Bless You ,in heaven.

Sal was one of my assistants at the 68Pct in the ICO office. He always had a smile and a story to tell. He kept us laughing in stressful times! Sal always had a pot of coffee waiting for me when I got into work!!! I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I last saw Sal in 2019 and he looked great and was so happy. Rest in Peace Sal.

It seems like yesterday when I met Sal, we were both assigned to the 70 precinct and became instant friends. We walked Flatbush Avenue together and had so many laughs along the way. Sal was kind and very helpful to the residents of East Flatbush, a cops cop and all around funny guy. We had lost touch up until a few years ago when we connected again on Facebook. He told me he loved Florida and the fishing was great. His passing comes as great tragic surprise. Sal will be sorely missed. Until we meet again.

I remember teaching Sal in St. Peter's. He always wanted to do well and was disappointed when he thought he should have done better. He was a fine student.
Rest in peace, Sal!
