Sandra Malta

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Sandra Malta, passed away, surrounded by family, on June 20, 2023, after a brief illness. She was a lifelong Staten Islander. She was the wife of the late James "Bob" Malta for more than 50 years. She was also predeceased by her sisters Catherine Verardi and Jenny Vitillo.

Sandra was a legal secretary and retired from Cleary, Gottlieb after 30 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially Christmas Eve dinner, as well as traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and rooting for the Yankees.

Sandra is survived by her sons, James Robert and Thomas, their spouses Kathy and Tricia, her grandchildren Robert, Christopher, Alexandria and Jackson, her brother Daniel Riccardi (Evelyn) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service at St. Teresa Church on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
