Born and raised in New Brighton, she moved to Sunnyside 40 years ago.
Ms. Mancuso graduated from McKee High School.
She enjoyed reading and needlepoint.
"Warm and loving, she was all about family,'' said her son-in-law, Vincent Scamardella. "Taking care of her daughter and grandsons was her main priority.''
She was a parishioner of St. Teresa's R.C. Church, Castleton Corners.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Pietrangelo, in 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Scamardella; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 9:15 a.m. in St. Teresa's Church. Entombment will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
