Steven Paul Borelli, 62, a lifelong Staten Island, N.Y., resident, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016.
Viewing is on Wednesday, March 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave., Staten Island. Funeral will be on Friday, March 11, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.
An architect, Mr. Borelli most recently was affiliated with DiDomonico & Partners in Long Island City, N.Y., and before that, the School Construction Authority. He graduated from Susan Wagner High School and received his architecture degree at N.Y.U.
He loved playing the drums and had been playing his entire life. He also loved traveling and relaxing at the beach.
Surviving are his wife, Bente; his children, Richard and Alicia; his stepchildren, Brian and James Piscopo; his grandson, Jaxon, and his stepmother, Irma Borelli. He was predeceased by his parents, Babe and Frances Borelli. He was the beloved brother-in-law to Anne, Erik and Jeanine, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
