Born August 8, 1951 in New York, she was the third child of Raul and Lola Salmeron.
Suzette graduated from Walton High School and the City College of New York and then pursued a career as a social worker. She worked in child and adult protective services.
Suzette will be remembered for her love of family and friends. She was a collector of unique items. She took pride in decorating her home for each season and holiday. She enjoyed traveling, especially her long road trips to Florida with Tomasito to visit family.
Suzette worked at the food pantry at St. Peter’s church and was passionate about helping others.
Suzette is survived by her siblings, Maria, Luis, Lola and Eric, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as individuals she met along the way that became family.
Raul and Lola, her parents, are deceased.
