I have lived my life and have done my best,

An example I have tried to be.

So, I have taken the steps beyond and my spirit is now set free.

I wasn't sure at first if I should go or stay.

But, my Aunt, nephew, cousins, friends, doctors and healthcare workers should their

love and care for me in a way that made it easy for me to go my way.

To flow with the sweet breeze travel and be free.

My time here has been long and well spent.

My mission is complete. Don't cry and don't be sad very long.

I promise you I am very happy now.

Safely Home

I am home in heaven, dear ones;

oh, so happy and so bright!

There is a perfect joy and

beauty in the everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,

every restless tossing passed;

I am now at peace forever,

safely home in heaven at last.

There is work still waiting for you,

so you must not idly stand,

do it now, while life remaineth–

you shall rest in God’s own land.

When that work is all completed,

He will gently call you home;

oh, the rapture of that meeting

oh, the joy to see you come!
