Theresa Wenger

Theresa was born on March 25, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, to Anthony and Nellie (Lisaj) Kosakowsi. She moved to the West Brighton section Staten Island with her family in 1970.

In 2004, Theresa moved to Seacliff Towers in the Rosebank, where she became an active member of the community and served on the board of directors for several years.

She enjoyed painting, long drives to nowhere, friends, music and occasional trips to Atlantic City with her best friend and ex-husband Irwin.

The last several years of her life were challenging due to mobility issues, during which her daughter, Janet, lovingly served as her primary caregiver.

Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Nellie Kosakowski and her ex-husband, Irwin.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet, sons, Vincent and Christopher and her granddog Domino.

After a private family gathering on November 3, 2025, the family will host a celebration of life at Seacliff Towers on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Time to be determined.
