My name is Kimberly Lucchese. I did my internship at SI Hospital and had the pleasure of assisting Tommy in occupational therapy. He was truly one a kind. A great personality, funny to be around, optimistic, and at times frustrated which is understandable. We had created a special bond in just a few short weeks and I will always remember him being apart of my journey. He was so lucky and had so many people in his corner it was truly remarkable. To Hilda and Tommy’s family, my deepest condolences. I see he got to get married which is what he always spoke about so that made me happy.

Our thoughts and prayers are you with during this difficult time.  We have so many fond memories of Tom. He will truly be missed. He was such a caring, wonderful man. We have so many fun memories of him.  He was a very good friend to us.

My heart is forever broken ! I miss you so much already, can’t seem to get rid of the lump in my throat and pain in my heart. We had such a great bond and a special relationship. I respect how you shared your journey with me from day one when you got sick. It was a nightmare to me… but not you!
You handled this horrible disease with such vigor and grace. You never complained.. you did everything the drs asked you to do and then some from surgeries to chemo to radiation, to ..too many obstacles to count.
You never gave up !! You pushed yourself beyond human limits because you had such a will to live. You were so BRAVE !!! Up and until you were called home . I know you are with Mommy and our brother Georgie, I guess the good Lord knew you had enough even though your will to live was still ever strong. You will forever remain in my heart..
Rest my BROTHER , my HERO  rest in peace.
