

Born in Mariners Harbor, Mr. Foster moved to South Beach, where he lived for 15 years before moving to Sunnyside. He settled in Brooklyn last year.
He was a loftsman at GMD Shipyard for 15 years and later for Rank & Welding Corp.
Mr. Foster was a Vietnam veteran, serving abroad the USS Enterprise with the U.S. Navy.
He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, fishing and dancing and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, South Beach.
Surviving are his wife, the former Fatima Manasova; four daughters, Linda Foster, Cynthia Foster, Louise Foster and Susan Foster; two brothers, Richard and Frank; two sisters, Sally Wimmer and Susan Foster, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Arrangements include cremation.
