Thomas J. Karasinski

He was the eldest of 4 children. Born in Staten Island and grew up in West Brighton. In 1984, he married Joan, the love of his life and they raised their 4 children in Midland Beach. Together, over 40 years, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Tom was retired from the New York City Police Department and is survived by his loving wife, Joan, and their daughters, Tara and her husband Anthony, and Danielle and her husband Rob. He also leaves behind his sons, Thomas and his wife Rose, as well as Daniel and his girlfriend Christina. His cherished grandchildren include Anthony, Luke, Tyler, Gabriella, Juliette, and Carter. Additionally, he is remembered by his sister, Mary Sheridan, her husband Tom, and his brother, John Karasinski, his wife Mary. He also had strong relationships with his nieces and nephews. Tom's life revolved around his family whom he loved fiercely. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bronislaus and Ellen, and his brother, James.

Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him. All are welcome to attend the following services.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY. A funeral service will follow on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 10:00AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 5371 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312.

In lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate donations to the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation instead.
