I will miss you, Thresa, you, the cool and compassionate clerk, radiating calm and inner strength. Whenever I entered your courtroom, you were the calming force there; patient with the litigants, striking just the right note with everyone.
You were just such a lovely person. You are dearly missed.
My deepest condolences to Thresa's family. Look to the sky now, she's a star.

Three things always stood out about you, Thresa. One, your smile. Perfect , bright, warm and inviting- just like the person flashing it. Two, your love of music. When you were the 3rd wheel in a date with my girlfriend to see Anita Baker, I remember us singing on the subway all the way back to Brooklyn. (Great voice, by the way!) And three, your nickname. Bootsie? The intimate Funkateer? That was just too cool for school. Hadn't seen you in years, but you were always residing in my heart. God bless and keep you, Bootzilla.

I could not have been more devastated that my dear friend of more than 20 years is no longer with us. Thresa has always shown tremendous generosity and kindness to me, and it is absolutely tragic that she left us when she had so much more left to give to her friends, family and the rest of the world. The impact she made on my life and the love and friendship she showed me will never be forgotten. We are all lucky to have known her and we will never forget how wonderful she was.
