Virginia was born on October 17, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY as the youngest of 10 children. She moved to Staten Island in 1980 and remained there until 2013 when she moved to Middlesex County, NJ.
She worked for many years managing medical and dental practices in both Staten Island and New Jersey and retired earlier this year.
Virginia loved cooking and baking for those she loved and was a master at creating a variety of delicious cheesecakes; even starting a home business, Gingy’s Bread House, while living in Staten Island. What she loved most, though, was spending time with her beloved grandson, Daniel - who she always called her hero.
A memorial mass for Virginia will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 9:45 AM at St. Clare's Church, 110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, New York 10308. Following the memorial mass will be a committal service at 11:00 AM at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY 10306.
In Lieu of Flowers Donations made in Virginia's memory to Special Olympics of NJ (SONJ.org) will be greatly appreciated.
