To my Aunt Sonia,
I am truly sorry that you’ve lost your life long partner, he will truly be missed by many. He was a man who was knowledgeable on many subjects and had a very witty personality. He loved a good debate. We will always be here for you and will keep you and the family in my prayers. XO Madeline

With William and thanks to you that you where kind enough to have shared him with us. This gentleman that was so witty, knowledgeable of all the Motown songs, and all the baseball games, there wasn’t anything that he didn’t know.
He and my son, with their bald heads, and quick wit role playing father and son. As he would say to Tony “Your a fine young man!” 
William, you will ALWAYS be in our hearts. 
 We will never forget you.
Now it’s your turn to amuse God. 


Sonia, siempre les extrañamos, sobretodo los ratitos tan agradables donde solíamos debatir sobre un artista, una canción “Motown”, etc. Y William siempre tenía la respuesta correcta; en deportes, boxeo... !Que gran hombre y amigo!
El Señor lo ha acogido en Sus brazos.

Hi Grandpa ,

It’s soo hard to believe that your not longer here with us . I will always remember when you use to twist the paper towel and stick everyone in the ears and than you would make the whistle sound I will always remember that. You will truly be missed.

Hey Grandpa, 

It’s hard to accept that you aren’t here with us anymore, but thank you for giving me & the family so many memories to look back & smile about. We are all going to miss you doing the “Cool Jerk.” I just realized it’s a real song... all this time I thought it was you that made the song & dance up. Kind of like when you made up a brand new Scooby Doo theme song - I still can’t help but sing your version instead of the real one. 

Your loss is difficult for us all, but I guess God thought it was your time to become our angel. We’re going to take care of Grandma down here , I promise. I love you! 

P.S. Me, Lexi, and Mikey all got good grades on our tests... I know that’s something you wanted to know <3 

Dear Sonia, I am so saddened that Willie has left us. I’m so sorry for your pain that runs down to your children and family. I cannot image how you are feeling. You married a wonderful man. He was kind, gentle and caring. He had a handsome smile. I always looked up to him.  I only have fond memories of Yeyo (as we fondly called him) growing up in Coney Island. My cousin will be truly missed. I pray also for you, that God gives you strength in these difficult days ahead.

My dear cousin Yeyo.  A most loving, caring, and selfless human being. Who lived with optimism and joy for all that life offered.  He and Sonia lived and practiced a true and loving relationship until the end.    I will miss our frequent phone conversations, his care and regard for family and friends far and near.    I’m glad I got to see him last Christmas in Florida and enjoy their hospitality.   We made a toast
