
Mrs. Alice A. Morris, age 89, passed away at home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Morris was born in Stilson and lived most of her life in Bulloch County. She was a faithful member of the Landmark Holiness Church for over 28 years. She enjoyed embroidery and jigsaw puzzles . Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ivy Morris; sons, Ivy Morris, Jr., Ray Morris, and Jimmy Morris; daughters, Sally Garrett and Nora Kirkland; granddaughters, Lisa and Stacy; great grandchildren, Michelle and R.J.
Survivors include her children; Herbert (Jane) Morris, Bloomingdale, Don Morris, Metter, Jerry (Gloria) Morris, Hopeulikit, Lonnie (Brenda) Morris, Portal, Doris Biggans, Guyton, and Glorianne Wilds, Reidsville; many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great- greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Morris’ Family would like to extend a very special thank you to the exceptional staff of Compassionate Care Hospice of Pooler for their wonderful and loving care.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening 4-6 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2p.m. in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Butler officiating.
Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
