Miss B. Corine Jones

Miss Corine was preceded in death by her Parents, Mallie and Maude Jones, siblings, Mellinee J. Shaw, Josh Jones, S.I. Jones, Mallie C. Jones Jr. and her nephew, Mike Hyche.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Johny Graylan Shaw (Wanda), Bill Jones (Sharon), George Jones (Rita), Robert Jones (Barbara), Rick Jones (Barbara, James R. Jones (Tricia), Becky Moss (Pat), Vicki Keene (Todd) and Cindy Sheets (Stan). Miss Corine is also survived by many Great Nieces and Nephews.

Miss Corine was employed for 40 years by what is known today as the Sun Trust Bank. She was a member of the Credit Women’s International Organization from 1951 – Present. She was a Charter Member of the Georgia Women’s Bowlers Association from 1955 – Present. Miss Corine was also inducted into the Georgia Women’s Bowlers Hall of Fame in 1982. She was the founder of the SunTrust Retirement Organization along with Ms. Lucille Smith.

Visitation: Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM at the Hodges Moore Funeral Home, Statesboro, GA.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Interment: Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Highway 80 East, Statesboro, GA.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Statesboro and the Glenview Nursing Home.
