Benjamin B. Hodges Jr

Mr. Benjamin Bethea Hodges, Jr., age 71, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. The Bulloch County native was a 1966 graduate of Statesboro High School and graduate of Georgia Southern College with a degree in marketing. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and billards player. Mr. Hodges was also a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Thibadeau (Brian), Carmel, IN; son, Benjamin Hodges III (Savannah), Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Oliver Thibadeau, Amelie Thibadeau, Vivienne Thibadeau, August Thibadeau, and Emmett Thibadeau; sisters, Lucille Zetterower (owen), Statesboro , and Diane Simms (Mark), Statesboro; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

A gathering of friends and family will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10-11 a.m.at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Randy Waters officiating. Burial to follow in Eastside Cemetery.
