Carmen Brooke Davis, age 28, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Carmen was born in Monroe, Louisiana and grew up in Northeastern Louisiana. She moved to Effingham county as a teenager and graduated from South Effingham High School in 2008 and had lived in Brooklet for the past six years. Carmen attended Connection Church and was a homemaker. She loved the beach, spending time with her children and family and enjoyed doing arts and crafts with her children and was working at starting her own monogram business.
Carmen was preceded in death by her sister, Courtney Ezell and her memaw, Peggy Williams.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Frankie Edward Davis, Sr. of Brooklet; son, Cole Elijah Davis of Brooklet; daughters, Brylee Richey, Zoey Nettles and Raelynn Davis all of Brooklet; step-son, Frankie Edward Davis, Jr. of Brooklet; mother, Melaine Stokes (Hank) of Meldrim; father, Jeff Parker (Toni McConnell) of St. Joe, Louisiana; brother, Jonathan King of Effingham County; Mallory King of Pooler; grandfather, Sonny Boy Williams of Tallulah, Louisiana; uncles, Phillip Parker, Chad Williams, Ronald Faves, Donald Faves and Roy Jones.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 3:30 to 5:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home, immediately followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel officiated by Pastor Bo Fordham.
