BROOKLET, Ga. - Mr. Danny Edward Hodges, age 55, died early Friday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Chatham County and was currently living in Brooklet. Mr. Hodges enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family, and friends.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joyce Dyches Hodges of Brooklet; his daughter and son-in-law, Christie (Paul) Thomas of Effingham County; his son, Daniel Edward Hodges of Brooklet; his mother, Mrs. Norma Hodges; his sister, Patsy Williams; three brothers, Stanley (Lisa) Hodges, Joe (Mary) Hodges and Thomas (Joyce) Hodges, all of Effingham County; and one grandchild, Jasmyne Hodges of Clito; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
