Don Rickey Barrow

Don was born in Statesboro and moved to Claxton at a young age. While in Claxton, he attended public schools and soon after graduation he returned to Statesboro. He was co-owner of Fairytale Tents and Party Rentals and also HealthVac Carpet Cleaning Service. He attended Believers Church.

Mr. Barrow was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Jean Bond and his son, Joshua Phillip Barrow.

Mr. Barrow is survived by his former wife and best friend, Tammy H. Barrow of Statesboro; sons, Shannon Barrow and his wife, Carrie and Christopher Barrow and his fiancé, Andrea all of Tampa, FL and Logan Gage Barrow and his fiancé, Kayla of Statesboro; father, Donald Barrow of Claxton; brother, Donald Randy Barrow and his wife, Peggy of Metter; grandchild, Jayden Barrow of Statesboro and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5:30 to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Oglesby officiating.

Burial will follow in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Charles Anthony Smith, Jr., Travis Keaveney, Doug Porter, Charlie Mincey, Will Thigpen and Steve Brower.
