

Mr. Gary H. Cullen, age 61, died Sunday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 2, 1948, in Libertyville, Illinois, and lived many years in Savannah before moving to Bulloch County in 1987. Gary was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked with the Chatham County Police Department, was the owner and operator of Crayon Disposal and had worked with the Ginn Company for the last 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Emily Cullen.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Karen Weathers of Register; his sons, Donovan Cullen of Register, Kyle Cullen of Statesboro; his daughter, Stephanie (John) Cave of Savannah; his sister, Carrie Cullen of Maple Lake, Minnesota; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry Cullen of Wisconsin and Larry (Julie) Cullen of Gurnee, Ill.; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kim (Randy) Scott of Cumming, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Elder Howard Rushing officiating.
