Glenda Lee

Glenda was born in Claxton and moved with her family to Statesboro at a young age. She graduated from Statesboro High School with the class of 1968 and received her bachelors of science degree in Business Administration from Augusta State University. Glenda worked in the accounting department with Eldercare Center, in Augusta for many years. She had been living in Louisville, Georgia for the past 10 years and enjoyed and loved the company of her friend Robert (BJ) Strickland. She was of the Baptist faith.

Glenda was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Joe Oglesby, a precious grandson, Joshua Oglesby; her parents, Nesbitt Erastus Lee and Edna Irene Hunnicutt Lee; brothers, Johnny A. Lee and Bobby M. Lee and her sister, Nancy Marie Lee Rigdon.

Glenda is survived by her sons, Spencer Lee Oglesby of Augusta and Jeffery Daniel Oglesby (Brandy Eslick) of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Autumn Jade Michelle Lee Oglesby, Dustin Blake Oglesby and Christian Michael Oglesby; sister, Brenda Lee Donaldson (Clifford) of Gainesville, GA; brothers, Dannie Lee (Marie Oglesby) Lamar J. Lee (Jan Morris) and Robert E. Lee (Lori Thompson) all of Statesboro; many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private visitation and memorial service on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

A private burial will be held in Eastside Cemetery.
