

The Winchester, KY native moved to Statesboro in 1973 and owned and operated E-Z Carwash with his father and brother. Gregory was a member of Brooklet United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Statesboro Lion’s Club. He was an Eagle Scout and volunteered many hours with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 342, in Statesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grady and LaTane Hardman Parrish, brothers, Henry G. Parrish, III and Stephen H. Parrish and son, Grady Herbert Parrish.
Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jane C. Parrish, Brooklet, 3 sons, Gregory W. Parrish, Jr. and his wife Francie of Albany; Steven G. Parrish and his wife Anna of Perry and Griffeth A. Parrish and his wife Christina of Savannah, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, November 22 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 23 in Brooklet United Methodist Church with the Reverend Wes Moye officiating.
Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Lane, Blair Faulk, Chad Heard, Sr., Chap Cromley, Tim Orr and Ronnie Griffeth.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Curry, III, Matt Morris, Lovett Bennett, Jason McCleod, Justin Lee, Elliott Swint, Wil Jones, Daniel Diamond and Evan Patrick.
