Many fond memories with Aunt Gwen over the years. When we were younger, overnight stays at Christmas when, as one of the sisters, it was her turn to host. Sunday dinners at Mam and Daddy George’s house in Bridgeport where the conversations could get quite intense. As an adult, many warm summer nights relaxing by her pool, hearing stories about growing up in Bridgeport and enjoying Uncle Willard’s fabulous strawberry daiquiris. While I didn’t get to see her as often after they moved to Georgia, we still chatted by phone. You will be missed, Aunt Gwen, but your memory is a blessing.

I only knew Gwen for a short time but she was an amazing person. Always easy to talk to, warm-hearted, and with a great memory. I was always amazed by the things she would remember about me even though I would only see her once or twice a year. She will be missed but she did a great job raising her children so that's a perfect legacy to leave behind
