Mr. Harold "Hal" Vernon Lloyd Jr.

Mr. Harold Vernon "Hal" Lloyd Jr., age 56, died Wednesday at his residence. The Ware County native grew up in Savannah and was a longtime resident of Bulloch County. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Hal enjoyed flowers, children, animals and helping take care of others.

Survivors include his mother, Vivian Lloyd Thomas of Statesboro; four sisters, Sharon Lloyd Estill of Black Creek, Glenda (Tommy) Boatright of Black Creek, Venita (CW) Finch of Portal and Rachel (Mike) Chase of Statesboro; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Kyle Oglesby officiating.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
