

Jack Lowe, age 74, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 in his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Jack was a native and lifelong resident of Brooklet, was a 1960 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and had served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church and had attended Brooklet United Methodist Church and Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils. As a young man, Jack enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He loved to fish and was a huge Elvis fan.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Winnie Smith Lowe.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Drake and her husband, Ricky of Barnsville, OH; son, Galen Lowe of Statesboro; sister, Weta Boaen of Springfield; three grandchildren, Colt Drake of Columbus, OH; Cassandra Drake of Barnsville, OH and John Michael Kendrick.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Chaplin David Colburn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM Wednesday until the funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Devin Smith, Jordan Smith and Tyler Smith.
